Every biological process follows its own healthy rhythm. In every body, we will find that most things have their own rhythm: heartbeat, hormones, digestion, blood pressure, respiration, body temperature, blinking, and not to mention all processes in the brain. Although it is not always obvious to us, there is a connection between all natural rhythms. A simple way to think of this is that by studying the rhythm of the heart, we can gain insight into all rhythms.

Simply put, we can say that all hearts beat unevenly as a sign of adaptability. The more even the rhythm of a heart, the less able you are to adapt to the world and everything you are exposed to. The higher the variability in the heart rhythm, the better the ability to regulate. The natural function of the heart is to adapt to ever-changing challenges.

Cellmed 34 - Compass HRV is a measurement of the time interval between our heartbeats, and the variations in these intervals. This variation is not random, but is influenced by the body's internal regulatory systems, including the autonomic nervous system.

Nervous system

Cellmed reader -C HRV measurement is a method of evaluating the activity of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is a part of the peripheral nervous system that controls the body's involuntary functions. It regulates many essential processes, such as heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, respiration and the body's response to stress. It is divided into two branches: the sympathetic nervous system, which activates the "fight or flight" response in response to stressors, and the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps the body "rest and digest" by conserving energy and promoting relaxation. The autonomic nervous system operates automatically, without conscious effort, to maintain homeostasis and ensure that the body's internal environment remains stable.

Cellmed reader-C HRV measures the variation in the time interval between our heartbeats. A high variation in heart rate indicates that the autonomic nervous system is functioning optimally, while a low variation may be a sign of stress, illness or other form of imbalance.
